Update on the Saving Tottington Library Campaign

Dear Residents of Tottington, Walshaw and Affetside,

As most library users of Tottington Library are aware, the Library has now closed.

However, Bury Council’s Cabinet Committee are meeting on the 10th January 2018 to vote on a proposal to hand over the running of building to The Friends of Tottington Library. We would then look to re-open the building with a library and other public services as soon as we can. Please watch this space for further updates.

Please help us to raise funds to run Tottington Library

We’re raising donations for Friends of Tottington Library every time we shop online at easyfundraising.org.uk and wondered if you’d fancy joining us in a spot of feel good shopping?

It’s so simple to get going all you have to do is:

  1. Go to http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/tottingtonlibrary
  2. Sign up for free
  3. Get shopping  and start raising

No catches, no hidden charges and Friends of Tottington Library will be really grateful for your donations.

It would be fantastic if you could join us and really help make a difference!
Happy Christmas and all the best for the New Year!
Councillors Iain Gartside, Yvonne Wright and Greg Keeley
