Help Us Raise Funds To Save Tottington Library

Dear Residents of Tottington, Walshaw & Affetside,

It is the Ramsbottom Tottington and North Manor Pitch event on Saturday 25th November where local community groups are going to “Pitch” to an audience of local residents in order to try and secure funding from Bury Council.

As you will be aware, Councillors Yvonne Wright, Greg Keeley and I together with the Friends of Tottington Library Group, are trying to raise funds to take over the running of the library building to prevent it’s closure.

In order to win funding from this event we need as many residents as possible to attend the event and vote for our cause after watching a short presentation from us and the other bidding groups.

The event is to be held at:

Holcombe Brook Tennis and Sports Club, Hazel Hall Lane, off Longsight Road, Holcombe Brook, Bury, BL0 9FS – (When using sat nav use postcode BL8 4DB which is the Esso Petrol station 300 yards down the road opposite the entrance).

Admittance is at 12.30-12.45pm. Once the Pitch is underway ballot papers to vote we understand will not be issued to latecomers.

Thank you for reading this and I hope to see you on the 25th.

Best Wishes

Iain Gartside

Councillor for Tottington, Walshaw and Affetside
